MIDGRID 'PR PRESSED' GRATINGS

Pressed Gratings are best suited for Architectural and Domestic environments, constructed using Flat bars in both directions. The Bearing bars are interlocked with 10 x 2 mm Transverse bars to produce a Uniform Linear product which lends itself perfectly to Architecture, as it is possible to have bars lining through in Both directions.

Our full range of patterns and section can be seen on Pages 12 & 13 of our Brochure http://www/midgrid.co.uk/Brochure.html.

PR Pressed Gratings are normally supplied as Fabricated Panels, incorporating any cutouts or notches at the Fabrication stage. A T-Profile border or Flat

Banding is then fitted around the Panel to provide Rigidity and to prevent
Inter-Meshing.

'Plain or Serrated'
PR Pressed Gratings can be supplied as Plain or Serrated Top, and there is also a choice of different Serrations to Choose from

* PR/S1 (Bearing Bars Serrated Only)
* PR/S2 (Both Bearing Bars & Transverse Bars Serrated)

'Full Gratings'( A.K.A. Carton Gratings, Egg-Crate, Egg-Box and Ceiling Gratings). These gratings are produced so that both the Bearing Bar and Transverse bar are of an equal height / depth, and can be supplied in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium.

Gratings designated with a 'C' in our manufacturing programme are possible.

'Heavy Duty Gratings'
Heavy Duty Pressed Gratings are produced using Deep Flat Bars. The Bearing Bars are interlocked with Transverse Bars to produce a Robust Grating capable of taking heavy loads such as Cars, Vans, Lorries and Fork-Lift Trucks.

Heavy Gratings can be produced with Bearing Bars upto 150x5mm.
